What Information We Collect
We only collect information you voluntarily provide to us, specifically:
- Your name and email address when you submit a manuscript query
- The content of your query email and any attached manuscript pages
- Any other personal information you choose to include in your submission
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics software, or any third-party tracking tools on this website.
How We Use Your Information
Information submitted via query is used solely to:
- Review and respond to your manuscript submission
- Communicate with you about the status of your query
- Keep internal records during the active review period
We will never sell, share, license, or distribute your personal information or manuscript to any third party.
How Long We Keep Your Data
If your submission is not selected, your query and any attached materials are deleted at the end of our review period (typically within 12–16 weeks of our response). If you would like your data deleted sooner, email us and we will action it within 7 days.
If we enter into a publishing agreement with you, we retain relevant communications as part of our business records for the duration of the contract.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data at any time
- Withdraw from any communication with us

Third-Party Services
Our blog is hosted on Hashnode at blog.brighttidestudios.com. When you visit our blog, Hashnode's own privacy policy applies. We do not control or have access to any data Hashnode collects.
This website is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type) as part of hosting infrastructure. We do not access or use this data.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
