A complete guide to our services.
You write the story. We handle every single thing that comes after: editorial, design, distribution, marketing, community, and fandom. All of it. One team. One book at a time.

Who We Are
Bright Tide is India's first publishing house built entirely around queer romance. We're founder-led, fandom-native, and fully invested in every project we take on. No agents to chase. No years in a submissions pile. Just a real publishing partnership with one person who genuinely loves what you write.
Two Models
The Traditional Model
We believe in your book enough to back it fully. We cover all costs: editorial, design, production, distribution, marketing. We carry the financial risk. You focus entirely on the work. Royalties on every copy sold at industry-standard rates.
The Co-Investment Model
Both parties contribute to the publishing budget. You put skin in the game, we match it. In return, you earn a significantly higher royalty split and more input on creative decisions. You're co-investing in something we both believe in.
We work on the story with you. Every manuscript we take on goes through a full editorial process in direct collaboration with the author. No outsourcing.
Story Development
We sit with you and map out the world, the characters, the emotional arc. We help shape the story before you write a single word. Think of it as a co-development process: your vision, built out with real editorial support from day one. If you've been sitting on an idea for years because you didn't know where to begin, this is for you.
The big picture pass

Clean and consistent
The final pass before it's real
Cover art that stops a scroll. Interior design that respects the reading experience. Print and digital done properly, not just uploaded and left.
Custom. Original. Fandom-worthy.
Every page, considered.
On shelves. In hands.
Every platform, every reader.
Your work stays yours. We handle the paperwork, the contracts, the IP. You just need to understand it, not drown in it.
Clear from day one.
Beyond the first edition.
Officially yours.
No middleman needed.
Everywhere readers look. Print, digital, India, international. We handle it end to end.
Your home market, covered.
Diaspora and beyond.
Every device, every reader.
On physical shelves.
We don't launch books. We build fandoms. Every marketing decision is made for the BL fandom, not the generic book market. We know the language. We know the spaces.
Instagram, X, BookTok.
Micro to macro, all fandom-native.
Readers before launch day.
An event, not a post.
The story behind the story.
The day is an event.
Discord. Fanart. Theory threads.
Phase 3 territory.
You are never on your own here. One founder. One author at a time. You'll always know where your book is, what's happening, and why.
Ari, start to finish.
Full transparency, always.
Beyond the book.
Before you even hit send.
How to Submit
No agents. No waiting years. Just send it.
If you're writing queer romance (BL, GL, sapphic, MLM) in any setting: contemporary, fantasy, historical, mythology, or something we haven't seen yet, this is where you start. Genre matters less than story. We read everything. We respond within 8–12 weeks.
250–350 words. Hook first. Then premise, protagonist, what stands between them and love, and the emotional stakes. Make us feel it before we've read a word of the manuscript.
Pasted in the email body. Not attached. We want your voice immediately, not a file to open.
Word count, genre, and target audience (Adult / NA / YA). Keep it short.
Published in the last 5 years. Tell us what shelf your book belongs on.
Short. Publishing credits if any. And, why this story is yours to tell. That part matters more than the credits.
That's genuinely fine. Tell us what the story is, where it's set, and who's in it. We'll take it from there. Story development is part of what we do.
